This research use descriptive method on this research the aim of this research is to create a descriptive, picture in a systematic, factual and accurate information on the facts, nature, and the relationship between the phenomenon
under the study. While this type of research is correlational research this research is designed to determine the degree of the correlation on the different variables. The population of this research is intended the employees of PT.Swatama Mega
Teknik the number of employees are 237 people consisting of several divisions. Samples were taken using Non Probability Sampling. Data collection technique on this research is use questionnaire. For data analysis technique used validity,
reliability test, F test, t-test, R² and path analysis.
The results showed that the competence and leadership style has
simultaneous significant effect on employee performance with a path coefficient value of 0.247 with 0.004 significant values were less than 0.05. for competency and significant positive effect on employee performance and path coefficient value
of 0.528 with 0.000 small significant value greater than 0.05. for leadership style and significant positive effect on employee performance.
