Analisis financial distress dengan menggunakan metode altman z-score dan zmijewski pada pt sarimelati kencana tbk periode 2019-2023

This study aims to analyze the financial distress conditions at PT Sarimelati Kencana Tbk during the 2019-2023 period using the Altman Z-Score and Zmijewski and to determine the highest level of accuracy of each method used. This type of research is quantitative descriptive using secondary data obtained from financial reports published on the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population of the study was PT Sarimelati Kencana Tbk with a sample consisting of five years of financial reports. The results showed that the Zmijewski method had the highest level of accuracy in predicting financial distress with an accuracy of 100% and an error rate of 0% While the Altman Z-Score method showed an accuracy of 80% and 20% in the gray area category. It can be concluded that the Zmijewski method is more effective in detecting financial distress compared to the Altman Z-Score method at PT Sarimelati Kencana Tbk during the 2019-2023 period.
