Pengaruh Budaya Organisasi, Kompetensi dan Sistem Kompensasi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan denga Pemediasi Disiplin Kerja dan Motivasi Kerja
Human resources are the strength derived from the potential of individuals within a company and serve as the fundamental asset for achieving organizational goals. Therefore, human resource management is necessary to effectively manage employees, aiming for maximum performance and organizational objectives. This study focuses on the impact of organizational culture, competence, and compensation systems on employee performance, considering the roles of work discipline and work motivation as mediating factors.
The research methodology employed is quantitative, involving 60 employee respondents in the year 2023. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the path analysis technique (Path Analysis) with SPSS version 23 for Windows.
The research findings indicate that organizational culture significantly influences work discipline, as well as competence and the compensation system. Organizational culture also significantly affects work motivation, whereas competence does not significantly influence work motivation. The compensation system also significantly influences work motivation. Moreover, organizational culture significantly influences employee performance, while competence and the compensation system do not exert significant influence on employee performance. Work discipline acts as a mediator in the relationship between organizational culture and employee performance, as well as between competence and the compensation system for employee performance. However, work motivation does not serve as a mediator in connecting the influence of competence to employee performance.
This study unveils the complex interplay between organizational culture, competence, compensation system, work discipline, motivation, and employee performance in the context of Akademi Aman Jaya. The significance of human resources as the foundation for a company's success is underscored, emphasizing the necessity of effective human resource management to optimize employee performance and achieve organizational goals
