Pemecahan masalah menggunakan media Loose Part anak usia 5-6 tahun di PAUD Suryakasih Cipinang Besar Selatan Jakarta Timur
Counting for early childhood serves as a foundation before entering higher levels of education. Engaging learning media can influence children's interest in counting, one of which is through traditional games. This study aims to explain the process and determine the improvement in children's counting skills using the traditional game Dam-daman. The research method used is classroom action research based on John Elliot's model. Data collection techniques include observation sheets, field notes, and documentation. The results of the study show an increase in children's counting skills by 29%. This is evident from the pre-action stage, where counting ability was at 56%, then increased to 84% after the intervention. Based on the research findings and relevant studies, it can be concluded that the traditional game Dam-daman can enhance children's counting skills.
