Sektor Basis dan Struktur Ekonomi Unggulan Kota Administrasi Jakarta Barat Tahun 2016-2021

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing and analyzing changes and movements
in the economic structure and being able to identify sectors that are the basis or non-base
sectors in the West Jakarta Administrative City area. The analytical method used is Location
Quotient (LQ) analysis and Shift Share analysis. Location Quotient (LQ) analysis method is
used to determine basic and non-base sectors and Shift Share analysis is used to determine
changes in economic structure. The results of the Location Quotient (LQ) research show that
there are nine basic sectors and eight non-base sectors. The Information and Communication
Sector is the highest LQ value in the Administrative City of West Jakarta in 2016-2021. Based
on the Shift Share Analysis, seen with the Proportionality Shift component, there are sixteen
positive value sectors, the sector that has the fastest growth among all sectors, namely the
information and communication sector. Shift Share analysis in the Differential Shift
component can be seen that there are seven sectors that have competitiveness and
competitive advantage and overall from the results of the National Share of the West Jakarta
Administrative City economic sector in 2016-2021 the growth is faster than the growth of the
same sector in DKI Jakarta Province
