"The performance of bunker ship crews plays a crucial role in maintaining smooth vessel operations and supplying essential fuel to fleets at sea. This study employs a quantitative method using questionnaires and path analysis through SPSS version 23 to explore the relationships between engine maintenance management, work competency, ship seaworthiness, and crew performance at VBunker Tankers.These findings highlight the importance of effective engine maintenance and high work competency in achieving optimal operations and superior crew performance. The results can be used to enhance maintenance management, crew training, and operational procedures to ensure efficient and reliable bunker services.Data analysis reveals that engine maintenance management and work competency significantly impact both vessel operations and crew performance. However, ship seaworthiness does not significantly affect vessel operations but does influence crew performance. Ship operations serve as a mediator between engine maintenance management and work competency regarding crew performance, but do not mediate the impact of ship seaworthiness.These findings highlight the importance of effective engine maintenance and high work competency in achieving optimal operations and superior crew performance. The results can be used to enhance maintenance management, crew training, and operational procedures to ensure efficient and reliable bunker services.
