Pengaruh penerapan maritime labour convention (mcl) 2006 dan kebjikan perusahaan terhadap kepuasaan pelaut indonesia pada perusahaan pelayaran Bumn dengan kesejahteraan pelaut sebagai variable mediasi
This study aims to explore and analyze the impact of the implementation of the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) and company policies on seafarers' well-being and satisfaction, as well as the mediating role of seafarers' well-being in these relationships. The study employs an associative quantitative approach. Primary data were collected through a survey of 80 seafarers, sampled via stratified sampling from four shipping companies: PT. Pelayaran Bahtera Adhiguna, PT. Pelni, PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry, and PT. Pertamina International Shipping. Data analysis involved Partial Least Squares (PLS) to examine the relationships between variables. The results indicate that the implementation of MLC and company policies significantly affect seafarers' well-being and satisfaction. Additionally, seafarers' well-being acts as a mediator that strengthens the impact of MLC and company policies on seafarers' satisfaction. These findings provide valuable insights into how maritime policies and regulations can enhance seafarers' well-being and job satisfaction.
