"This research examines the influence of Leadership Style and Work Environment on Performance with work motivation ax a mediating variable.The research method used is quantitative. This research adjusted the sample size for a limited population using Finite Population Correction (FPC). The research population was 38 people with various positions and responsibilities on the ship. Data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using path analysis techniques via SmartPLS software.
The research results show that the work environment does not have a significant effect on work performance and motivation, while leadership style has a significant effect on work performance and motivation. In addition, there is no significant influence between Leadership Style and Work Motivation on Performance, which shows that although leadership style and work motivation are both important, the combination of the two does not always result in a significant increase in performance in this organization. This research suggests expanding the sample, comparative research between companies and longitudinal studies.
